It's winter! With longer nights and darker mornings, more vigilance is from drivers, walkers, and rollers. It can be difficult to see pedestrians--especially kids--who are walking or riding their bikes to school or other destinations. Beth Schmidt is the coordinator for @sksaferoutes, a program that advocates and educates on pedestrian and bike safety. She joins us on the last Our Community Matters of 2024 to talk about the work of keeping students safer.
